Baicalin (from Scutellaria Baicalensis)
Baicalin (from Scutellaria Baicalensis) 0.4 g
Skullcap is one of the key herbs in Chinese medicine with the name Huáng Gín. Skullcap extract contains Baicalin, Chrysin and more but our powder extract is standardised for the flavonoid Baicalin (90%).
For the skin, the most relevant activities of Baicalin are prevention of damage by UV and control of Atopic Dermatitis. Baicalin also seems to have antiviral activity.
You will find skullcap extract in products from La Prairie, Clinique and MLab. Use ours if you want concentrations high enough to make a difference.
Each tube of Baicalin (0.4 grams) is enough for 120 ml of cream. (0.3% concentration). Mix into your favourite cream or base; we recommend our Canvas Base Cream, European Cream, or Sea Kelp Coral
Soluble in Creams
